Porta lumino

Con il progetto ho voluto celebra il valore intrinseco degli oggetti dimenticati, trasformando la funzione tradizionale di una candela in una narrazione visiva e funzionale.
Il progetto si presenta come una candela che si scioglie lentamente, ma il suo sciogliersi non segna la fine, bensì l’inizio di una nuova funzione. La cera, colando, forma gradualmente un porta lumino che emerge come residuo prezioso del processo. Questo oggetto non solo incarna il concetto di trasformazione e rinascita, ma invita a riflettere sulla bellezza nascosta nell’impermanenza e sull’importanza di valorizzare ciò che solitamente scartiamo.
MEMORIA FUSA si pone come metafora del tempo che scorre e del significato che possiamo attribuire a ciò che altrimenti considereremmo perduto. Una candela che, nel consumarsi, non si estingue, ma si evolve, diventando simbolo di memoria.

Light holder

With this project, I wanted to celebrate the intrinsic value of forgotten objects, transforming the traditional function of a candle into a visual and functional narrative.
The project presents itself as a slowly melting candle, but its melting does not mark the end, but rather the beginning of a new function. The wax, dripping, gradually forms a matchstick that emerges as a precious residue of the process. This object not only embodies the concept of transformation and rebirth, but also invites us to reflect on the beauty hidden in impermanence and the importance of valorizing what we usually discard.
MEMORIA FUSA stands as a metaphor for the passage of time and the meaning we can attribute to what we would otherwise consider lost. A candle that, as it burns, does not extinguish itself, but evolves, becoming a symbol of memory.
