Tavolino, luce e svuotasse

Tre oggetti, tre gesti, tre memorie che riaffiorano.
Rimane nasce dal desiderio di custodire il ricordo di mia nonna attraverso il linguaggio del design, trasformando strumenti legati al cucito in nuovi oggetti d’arredo.Un porta fili da cucito diventa un tavolino, superficie d’incontro tra passato e presente.
Un tira filo si trasforma in una lampada, dove il neon sottile si avvolge come un filo luminoso, disegnando nello spazio il gesto antico del cucire.
Infine, dei centrini fatti a mano, solidificati con la resina, trovano nuova vita come svuotatasche, piccoli contenitori di memoria.

Il progetto indaga il ricordo attraverso il gesto, l’intreccio invisibile tra ciò che resta e ciò che si trasforma.
Ogni oggetto conserva la traccia del fare: la delicatezza del filo, la pazienza delle mani, la cura che tiene unito il tempo.
Rimane è un dialogo tra materia e affetto, tra memoria e rinascita.

Rotating flower holder

Three objects, three gestures, three memories resurfacing.
Rimane was born from the desire to preserve the memory of my grandmother through the language of design, transforming tools once used for sewing into new pieces of furniture.A thread holder becomes a small table, a meeting surface between past and present.
A thread puller transforms into a lamp, where a thin neon light coils like a luminous thread, tracing in space the ancient gesture of sewing.
Finally, handmade doilies, solidified with resin, find new life as trinket trays, small containers of memory.

The project explores memory through gesture, the invisible weave between what remains and what transforms.
Each object preserves the trace of making — the delicacy of thread, the patience of hands, the care that binds time together.
Rimane is a dialogue between matter and affection, between memory and rebirth.
